Between 1966 and 1969 The Richard Kent Style released five scorching singles. Both sides of their third record on Columbia from 1967 are featured on the Acid Jazz EP; Marching Off To War’ (a Cropper/Floyd composition written for William Bell) and ‘I’m Out’. Their cover of The Contours ‘Just A Little Misunderstanding’ – is only available on Rare Mod 2 and the previously unreleased acetate ‘You Can’t Keep A Man Without Love’, make up four slabs of Memphis driven soul, guaranteed to make you move!
